K2000 KBE Boot screen not taking any usb input

Hello All,

I have not had this issue until now on a specific type of computer.  I am trying to boot into a KBE from a HP 6200 Pro and I can get into the KBE screen just fine.  The problem however is when I try to select a KBE to boot into.  The keyboard does not work whatsoever.  The keyboard works perfectly fine for the BIOS screen however.  Has anyone run into this issue?  If you have, what have you done to fix it?

that is happening during the PXE load before winpe so the only fix I know for that would be to flash the bios

Is the port the keyboard pluged into usb 3.0?  If so you will need to add the usb 3.0 drivers for the 6200 to your kbe or move it to a usb 2 port

Thanks for checking back.  I did check, and there are no USB 3.0 ports on it.  I have never seen the USB ports not work at the KBE page.  I can understand if it happens after I boot into a KBE, but not before it.  Does it actually load drivers before the KBE loads?

    • You win the best answer of the day! That worked great. The old BIOS was from 2011. The new one was from 2015. Worked like a charm! Thank you. - zgillette 9 years ago
    • If you could put that in as an answer, I would gladly mark that as the best one. - zgillette 9 years ago
