  • Any script is ok for me, I just want to check my usage of license key for a particular software - anonymous_102124 10 years ago
  • I cannot figure out exactly what you are trying to do. Are you trying to recover the license key that is being used by a particular piece of software, or are you trying to check how many licenses for a particular piece of software exist in your company?
Are you looking at a license server situation or local licensing? Some licenses are encrypted which makes it nigh on impossible to script a check for.
Perhaps if you explain in detail what your licensing check requirement is all about, it might proved easier to offer a solution. - EdT 10 years ago
    • Looking for a license usage report, for example how many licenses of software A are used in the department A and how many licenses of Software A are used in the Department B - anonymous_102124 10 years ago
  • This is a tricky one to solve unless by saying "used" you actually mean "installed". Is this what you mean? - EdT 10 years ago

What application are you trying to get results for?

Belarc Advisor used to be a pretty good generic tool for this sort of thing, but I haven't used it in a while.
