Learning how to setup a script

Good afternoon, I am trying to learn how to set up a script that will allow me to deploy software through our KACE system. While you may say this should be simple it isn't for me because I really don't know where to start, so if someone could put a couple of links to video that could help one to understand the process and two how to get started. Thanks in advance.
