Hi. Very late in the day, as it were, with a response but I've only just ventured onto this part of AppDeploy: I'm more usually on 'Package Development'. Anyway, I have a generic script which walks a folder tree looking for files with a particular extension and adding the file names to a dictionary object. It could easily be adapted for your purposes. Accessing XL is easy, as it has a neat object model. I have a basic XL script which demonstrates some basic features.
