"none of selected machines are online" but they are pingable and explorable from k1000
Hello,
I am trying to deploy software from my K1000 to one endpoint through the Managed installation screen (run now). I keep getting "none of selected machines are online". The end point can be pinged from the inventory screen, and explored as well from there.
what is up?
has anyone run into this before?

Do any of these show an active AMP connection in the Inventory section when the MI fails? If so, that is very odd. If not, there's some communication problem. - JasonEgg 7 years ago

I cant uninstall the agent, because it is asking for the server name, but there is no box to add the name into - Beecronj 7 years ago

Hello
This type of error is slicker. It is related to the configuration of your software. In the software details, Supported Operating Systems section, you must select all operating systems installed on the target devices. If you forget this step, you couldn't implement it correctly. Maybe the OS of the device you tried to deploy wasn't picked in this section

Thank you for this! With the new creator update, the version number of Windows 10 Pro changed & I hadn't selected it. So this is my reminder to do this with every major update of Windows! :) - ljg_gencode 6 years ago

I suspect you have a corrupt agent on the target machine.
You should remove and reinstall the agent on that pc.
Then run the "runkbot 6 0" command from the target machine.
i.e..... open command prompt.
change directory to....
C:\Program Files (x86)\Dell\KACE
then run command...
runkbot.exe 6 0
This will update the agent info from the machine to the k1000.
