Office 2010 Disable "Protected View" in OCT?

Hi All :)

I have been tampering with this for some time now, and no matter what settings i make, i cant seem to disable "Protected View" as default :(
Do anyone know how this is done?

Kind regards

In the OCT, you can configure the protected view settings for each application (Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc.) by using the Modify User Settings option in the OCT.

Using Powerpoint as an example:

Microsoft Powerpoint 2010 - Powerpoint Options - Security - Trust Centre - Protected View.

Before you go bulk disabling all protected view options, learn more about why MS included them here: http://blogs.technet.com/b/office2010/archive/2009/08/13/protected-view-in-office-2010.aspx

Have you snapshooted the change, to see where the apps store this information? Once you know that, you can incorporate it into your customisation MSP.

I haven't touched the OCT in a while but it has a dialog to use to import .REGs, doesn't it? Or maybe there's one to set the registry values directly? I can't recall exactly but I *do* remember being able to add custom registry data.

In OCT, choose Security in the left column and the protected view choices are at the top on the right.
