Outlook 2010 Disable Auto Create Contacts
I have created a customized MSP for isntalling Office 2010 and everything is working great.
However, there appears to be a setting that cannot be changed with the Office 2010 Customization Wizard which is causing greif with the contacts of our iPhone users.
The location of this setting in Outlook 2010 is under File --> Options --> Contacts and the setting is called "Automatically create Outlook contacts for recipients that do not belong to an Address Book"
This setting is enabled by default and users who receive external email from unknown contacts are finding that their Outlook contacts are being automatically populated with additional entries. These entries are also being automatically synched to the users iPhone which is overcrowding their legitimate contacts with a bunch of new (external) contacts.
Has anyone found a way to turn this off? (Registry Key or otherwise) so that I can add it to the Office 2010 customization wizard?

You could run your favourite light-weight snapshot tool (InControl, InstallRite, PictureTaker, et al) against turning the setting of manually and see what it picks up.
I suspect that it's going to a be a registry setting, so it should be fairly obvious once you have taken the snapshot.
Hope that helps,
