Power Configuration Changes
Hello, I've been working on changing the power configuration on a number of Windows 7 computers. The script will work if I run the script locally on the windows 7 computer. It will modify the Monitor and Standby times. However, if I attempt to run the same script via Kace it never changes the computer. I've run this every which way, and still doesn't work. Please help. By the way, I'm semi-intelligent, but this is really frustrating. I know that there is a built in script to modify power management. I would like to try creating my own and using the following via a batch file powercfg -change -monitor-timeout-ac 30
powercfg -change -standby-timeout-ac 0 (so that the computer does not go into standby)
powercfg -change -standby-timeout-ac 0 (so that the computer does not go into standby)
