Pre-installation task: Remove disk partitions?
Hello,
It would be nice with a deployment with a single pre-installation task such as remove partitions etc. and then ends.
How is that accomplished in the best way? When I try to make a new deployment I need to chose installation media etc, and there is no pre-definded task that simply removes partitions. Can anyone give me any pointers?
Rgrds,
Simon

Thx! I've added this into a new scripted installation with the same name. However, after the wipe, the clients proceeds with installation of Win7 (I had to choose a source media when created the above). Is there any way just to make the machine just shutdown instead? Create a fake source media perhaps? - szo850 9 years ago

From memory (I'm not currently working with builds):
SEL DISK 0
CLEAN
CREATE PART PRI
FORMAT /FS:NTFS QUICK

You might want to add an "ACTIVE" to set the newly created partition as active. - EdT 9 years ago
