PXE Boot & Ghost
Hi guys
I have a PXE server , which Im using to build pcs/ servers. I'm booting the PXE which boots a windows PE wim file. What I am looking to do now is to make the build more quicker , and Microsoft Delpoyment toolkit takes too long.(I created a wim using microsoft deployment toolkit)
I have Symantec Ghost and I used the ghost boot wizard , to create a network windows pe wim image. Fine. But when ever I try to pxe with this - I get errors. If I try to import the wim into Windows Deployment services , it says thats its not a valid wim image.
I've been going round and round in circles with this - all I want to do it pxe to a network share , that calls the ghost32.exe client. I can do this via cd/dvd or floppy disk - so surely it can't be that hard ?
Just to clarify , my machines that pxe boot has no problem getting a dhcp address or anything like.
