Preventing Quicktime v7.7.1 Updates
There's plenty of advice on here regarding the disabling of automatic updates. What my client needs is a total block. They don't want their users to be able to initiate it. My package disables the automatic updates, but the users still have the option to update in the menu. I'm hoping I've done all I can in the package and now I need to get the administrators to change permissions and use the firewall to prevent users doing it. Can someone advise please?

update their host file in the local pc to point quicktime server to 127.0.0.1
