Regarding warnings once .irp is built for .ism

Hi, please have patience to read this

1. I have installed AdminStudio in base machine and i copied "repackager" folder from "c:\programfiles" to Shared folder(shared for virtual machine)

2. in Virtual machine i used Shared folder to run "repackager"

3. i have taken snapshot method to capture the changes made by legacy installation.

4. once i got the .irp file( it will automatically opens, once second snapshot is complete and once we click the "finish") i just build the .irp file( i just unchecked the option which is for .msi build) without any changes.

5. but i got many warnings ( i know warnings are negotiable), i wanna know for what reason these warings are popped up, i havent made any changes.

PLease have patience to answer this, cause i am in need of experts help to learn myslef. Hope u understand my problems which i am facing. Thnak in advance.

please use google to search for ICE validation and ICE33 and learn about ICE validation and why this exists.

you will find that ICE33 is the most common Validation Warning but can be safely ignored. If you want to fix these broken COM relations, be my guest ;-)  fixing one warning gives you at least 2 new ones..

Better:  Office 2000 is the Mother of MSI's , please do a ICE validation on the MSI and you will be ROFL ;-)
