SAP GUI 7.2 Patch 11 Installation error
I hope somebody can help me with a installation issue regarding my single file SAP GUI 7.20 Patch 11 installation.
After the installation it comes with the folowing error.
Not Available 0x80004005 /q /n "C:\Program Files\SAP\Business Explorer\BI\BExInstaller.exe" Install Execute Component $APOLLO Files is in error. It has not been successfully installed. 0x80004005 {4C6645DF-8834-4B72-A87C-D60CC929CFC0} Install Component 15:38:51 31.05.2012 Administrator PACKAGING .
Because we deploy with trough SCCM it gives a error and quit all futher installations

It seems that your installation package gives a call to some executable and "/q /n "C:\Program Files\SAP\Business Explorer\BI\BExInstaller.exe" line is passed as parameter.
Could you check if this exe is present in your package(also check binaries). Also if possible please upload the package/instal log.

Also as this seems to be a patch installation, have you made it sure to install the package first which needs to be patched. - akki 12 years ago

Hi, Thank you for your answer. How do i see if the pakcage does come with this file? After the installation this file is present. Analyzer also works. I also have seen that this problem only occurs by installation of Patch 11.
I provided the installation server of Patch 11 and then create a single package file. - showitself 12 years ago
Some time when you try to install the patch.exe it drop first then SAP gui drop on the client machine, i had the same problem ..... i created the VB script to install the application dropped SAP GUI .EXE PAUSE then PATCH.exe
It worked fine with me ...
