Scanning Question
Does anyone know if Kbox has the ability to scan computers for file types? I realized it can do some security scanning but was unaware if it can do more than that. The reason I ask is that I would like to collect a list of machines that had large amounts of music, pictures, movies, etc..

As per my knowledge there is no direct procedure to achieve this, However you can write a VBsript to Search filesystm and return the list of files as Logs. I have done somethig similar in past to search and delete specific files from XP machines. However If you wish to only check the existance of some specific file than check the following section of Admin Guide, under the custom inventory rules.

Example—Check for a file
The following example verifies that the Notepad executable file exists on the node:
FileExists(C:\WINDOWS\notepad.exe)
