SCCM 2012 SP1 - Software update Package

I am fairly new to SCCM and seems that I am walking into an issue.  We have ADR for Endpoint Protection Definition Updates and it seems that no matter what I try, we still get the below error.  I have confirmed that this folder does not exist, but does point to the to the location (minus last folder).  There are several sub folders under the Endpoint Protection definition folder which I am assuming they are previous updates.  SCCM has reported it downloaded and deployed the update but it always errors out.  Any and all suggestions would be appreciated.

Delete the previous entries to avoid anything muddying the waters when you check what is going on. What is ADR?  Not entirely sure what you mean by the folder not being there, but it pointing to the location minus last folder. Do you mean \\xxx\PackageSource$\SoftwareUpdates\Endpoint Protection Definition Updates\ ?       What happens if you create the missing folder and put the necessary content into this folder?  There is probably an issue with the location - check that any paths containing spaces are double quoted.

  • Sorry, ADR is Automatic Deployment Rules. - usa.plaietta 10 years ago
  • As an update, I have created the missing folder and then it seemed I had the same error (different folder name). What it looks like SCCM is saying the update was downloaded but never did. - usa.plaietta 10 years ago
