Scipting an Icon to have Compatibility Mode

Anyone have any ideas about scripting an icon to have compatibility mode enabled? I recently pushed out a package to 150+ PC's and someone came to me today to ask if I could enable the Compatibility mode on the desktop icon without having to go touch each PC. I did some research but cant seem to find what I need.

Thanks [:(]
