script encoding

Hi,
is it possible to encode a vbscript with password ?

Yo!

You can 'encode' a VBSCRIPT using the Microsoft Script Encoder tool. But of course this can be decoded using a simple VBSCRIPT available on the web.

To use a password, you would be 'encrypting' the VBSCRIPT, and unfortunately this isn't possible. A shame really...

You cannot compile VBS, but what you can do is use the Script Packager feature of the Admin Script Editor to package the script in a secure executable. You can specify alternate credentials for the executable to run the script under and during script execution the files are temporarilly decrypted (but can be protected by ACL and EFS security during this stage) and when complete, the files are removed from the system.
