Service Pack 1 not installing via Updates folder
I have configured office2010 to install silently via kace with an msp file.
However I have included the exe for office 2010 SP1 but the installer for sp1 does not run as part of the install. I have even tried moving the customization MSP to its own folder and pointed to that directly as the admin file.
I appreciate any suggestions as it is pretty frustrating that from what I see online all I should have to do is include the SP1 exe in the Updates folder exactly as I have done.

I have not. I simply dropped the exe for sp1 into the updates folder since everywhere I looked online it said that any update file exe in the updates folder would be installed - jrasmussen 11 years ago

No.. It should be in msp format.. just do it as mentioned in the above link - jagadeish 11 years ago
