silently Deploy WidevineMediaOptimizerIE.exe
Hello,
I have been trying to silently deploy WidevineMediaOptimizerIE.exe without much success. I tried to extract the MSI but it errors out when I try to open it in WinRAR. I have tried every silent switch under the sun and while i can get to semi install using -verysilent the plugin will not activate in IE. Anyone out there have any ideas about this? Thank you in advance!

To extract the MSI, just run the install until you get the first screen, normally a 'Welcome' dialog. Most set-up stubs dump the MSI into %TEMP% but others use %SystemRoot%\TEMP, while others will use a folder beneath %AppData% or %LocalAppData%. - anonymous_9363 10 years ago
