SolidWorks 2012 SP5

Hi there,

I am having trouble install Solidworks 2012 SP5. Regarding the installation manual from Solidworks I run each MSI seperatly but the main msi is failing. In the eventlog it returns a lot of 1101 errors:

.NET Runtime Optimization Service (clr_optimization_v4.0.30319_64) - Failed to compile C:\Program Files\SolidWorks\annotationcplu.dll because of the following error: The specified module could not be found. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007007E).

but all are pointing to a different dll. Any ideas what could be the reason?

Thx

Stephan

you need to create the Adminstrative Image for the solidworks to make it work. Please see the link

Hi,

yes, I know this way but Solidworks also provides a PDF of how to install each single MSI.

Anyway, any idea how I can install the sldim.exe as hidden?

Cheers
