SONY S SERIES AND UEFI BIOS Mode

Hello Ninjas

I have a big problem:

Do you know what settings will be changed when you use Legacy BIOS Mode instead of UEFI mode?

We are not able to setup any Sony Notebooks in UEFI mode because of the Altiris PXE Server (in Altiris DS 6.9 UEFI is not supported -.- "the yellow pest").

But I think when I change the BIOS Mode to Legacy, the disk controller switch to IDE Mode, and this is why our machines are so slow with an harddisk.

Is there a way to setup a client in Legacy Mode and after the OS install switch back to UEFI, because when I change to UEFI Mode, i get an error "NO Operating System Found".

Kind regards

Not that I have discovered, whatever bios mode the drives start in they image as.  And did notice the systems I was testing did the samething, ran about half speed in legacy node.

For Kace I had to create UEFI boot sticks and then could image from the server.
