SSO, different DNS Zones / Domains

Hey guys!

I have a request for everyone.

We currently have a new appliance that sits in one domain i.e. k1000.x.com, and our AD, DNS, etc... resides in a .local domain. Has anyone been able to accomplish SSO under those conditions? LDAP login is working fine, just can't get single sign on. PS: There is no firewall blocking anything between the two currently, wide open.

Thanks,
KM

  • Do you have set in Internet Options > Security > Custom level... User Authentication Logon for each Security Settings zones? Such as, "Automatic logon with current user name and password".

We don't use SSO with our KACE appliances, but for those sites we do, this is where I make sure are set properly first.

Also see if you need to add your domain suffixes to your NIC TCP/IP settings.

Shooting in the breeze... I'm not sure. - worzie 6 years ago
  • Thank you for the reply! Unfortunately our settings already reflect the "Automatic logon with current..." I did review the suffixes, but no dice. - kmccully 6 years ago
