Syspref.exe is not taking the information from syspref.inf file.Can anybody tell me what should be the command line arguement to be passed?

Typically you shouldn't need to pass any commands to sysprep in order for it to read you sysprep.inf. are both files in the same directory and is that directory c:\sysprep ? if not I would try that. There are several sysprep arguments you can use which will let you avoid the GUI Interface. For a complete list of them you can check the Reference CHM file in the Deploy Tools @ Microsoft (URL: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/updates/sp1/deploytools.mspx )
