Tracking assets end of life

I have been tasked to track end of life dates for all assets managed thru Kace. Under software there is an end of life location. Does anyone know where this date comes from if available? If you have implemented an end of life roadmap using Kace systems management, your feedback is greatly appreciated.

  • Are you saying that your software asset type has an End of Life field? If so, then I'm guessing it was added in your environment. Our appliance does not have an End of Life field for the software asset. - chucksteel 6 years ago
    • Under software catalog, choose an application. You should see under properties "End of Life" field - cappy1962 6 years ago

    • I found this in KACE > Inventory > Software Catalog > Advanced Search > End of Life (from the drop down box). - Not sure if that helps, but that's where I was able to find anything End of Life. - ISEKOLD 6 years ago
      • Ah, the software catalog. That data comes from Quest. I do not know how they collect it. - chucksteel 6 years ago
