UAC prompt while giving license key in VMware Workstaion 10.0.3
I get this UAC prompt while giving the license key.
It is asking for admin privileges while the key is given through user mode.
I need to know how to suppress this UAC prompt. and the user should be able to give the license key without Administrator credentials.
I am using VMware Worksation 10.0.3.

The serial number you are entering will be stored in "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\VMware, Inc.\VMware Workstation\License.ws.........."
Hence, users will get UAC prompt when they enter serial key.
Try to give full permission to the above hive for Users group and check

I think you want to make the installation unattended.
Because Admin rights are a must when installating new devices (the virtual network cards)
Here is the basic info site from VMware.
And how to apply the properties.
Then you user only need to wait until installation finishes and reboot is required.
