Unable to get .dmg file uploaded to Kbox

I keep trying to get a 4.3Gb dmg file uploaded to my kbox for deployment to several of my iMac's but it keeps timing out. Is there a way of getting this up there without using the upload feature in the browser?

4.3GB is above the file size limitation of the KBOX. The web interface can only support uploads of 2GB or less.

Well that answers the question as to why it times out...... How do I get it onto my kbox then?

It appears the limitation is actually 1.5GB and the only KB article I can find references the K2000. I have no idea if there is a workaround for the K1000, but I doubt it.

In the upcoming release there is a mechanism to facilitate upload of larger files.

'Software : Edit Software Detail'
lets you create a manual Software entry. While doing so there is an option to upload & associate an installer file to the software item. If this installer file to be added is huge, instead of uploading, now there is an option to drop them in client drop. Once that is done, go to 'Edit Software Detail' page. A new option 'Upload & Associate Client Drop file' appears, listing all the large files found in the client drop location. The 'Client Drop File Size Filter' lets you set a size criteria based on which files are picked up from the Client Drop location. If a setting of '1 Gigabytes' is picked, then files whose size is >1G are listed under 'Upload & Associate Client Drop file' drop down."[/align]
