Upgrade to Wise 8.0 MR1 or migraste to Adminstudio
Want to get some opinons around Wise and AdminStudio and what is best practise since Wise will be discontinued
I have always used Wise as a packaging tool(from 5 and above). But since they are not to be continued, we are thinking of migration to maybe Adminstudio.
I guess some of you already have made this choise. And i would like to get your experience around this.Things to consider also: Windows8 and Windows Server 2012 packaging. Not sure if Wise 8.0 MR1 supports theese two new operating systems.

Licensing with Flexera can be prohibitive as they now have no rivals
Given that there will be no support for Wise we (that is the company I work for) have decided to move to AdminStudio. The upgrade offer of Wise to AdminStudio closed on 7th Nov, so as oreillyr says, it's going to be expensive. WPS has stagnated (in my opinion) since it was bought by Symantec and AS have been adding features and Windows 8 support so it now looks like a better product. I'd recommend the WPS to AdminStudio course that Flexera run to give you a better understanding of it.
