Url in App V
My App V package that I created for a URL, works fine for few of the users, but on one machine on launching the url breaks the IE. The user is not able to access to any other website other than the internal sites. There is no local interaction. Since it s in the bubble it should not interact with the otehrs. As anyone seen similar issue.
THanks

Same OS and same apps on machine. one thing different i did was as rileyz said I ran google before laucnhing url. main things i would check are the following as these generally fix any IE issues, considering the package works on other machines i think its safe to say its not the package, more so environmental on that machine.
- are there any differences in the build between machines?
- are there any addons for IE that the user has the others do not?
- how is the URL being called is it being called directly or is it a switch to launching IE
- if its a 64bit windows machine check what IE process is launching if its 32 or 64bit
- are you using -noframemerging if the latter?
- check the associations for http/https/url file/protocol types
- reset the internet explorer settings on the machine incase its been changed (who knows users do like to play arround with things)

we are using 64 and I have the IE pointing to programfilesx86 lauching directly. there is nothing about -noframemerging. other wise too, its appv it should not interact outside. - shamu 8 years ago

I tried to reset the settings, it worked. only change I saw was LAN settings default is set to automatically detect setting. But the machine with had it disabled. Anything to do with this. - shamu 8 years ago

Is the app-v package clean? No I.e registry entries inside the bubble? - sparky86 8 years ago

There are some ie settings I need to change .. That's in there . Noticed one thing, default setting is enabled, after launching the settings change, which surprises me. When sequencing the machine does have it enabled - shamu 8 years ago
