-Easy to work with single point of contact
-Training and man hours are miminal because people are used to the system
-Reduces cost by having a single solution
cons:
-Replacement costs can run high
-Maybe become legacy
-Maintenaince costs are usually higher and upfront costs are large as well
2) Best Breed Systems:
-Mulitple vendor for the best solutions
-lower costs because the systems don't need to be replaced at the same time
cons:
-requires significant intergration
-Costs extra for cross training on multiple solutions
-Multiple vendors differently level of support
