Can you elaborate on "Other Space"? Is that a partition on your drive? Unpartitioned space? - chucksteel 7 years ago

Be very careful with Apple's "Other" category. Just because Apple's space management system doesn't recognize the origin of those files and therefore adds the tag, "other", doesn't mean those files aren't important to someone else or even more likely, you!
