What's the best method to sipstream Win 7 SP1 64bit with updates for deployment with a K2000?

I already have a Win 7 SP1 64bit ISO that I can load on our K2000, but I'd like to include updates if possible. I'm hoping there's a Kace-centric method out there maybe.

Thanks

RT7Lite works but is no longer being updated. I wrote a blog post on slipstreaming updates into Windows with win toolkit: http://www.itninja.com/blog/view/using-win-toolkit-to-inject-microsoft-patches-into-a-windows-7-deployment

Just found this by searching:  http://www.itninja.com/question/k2000-windows-7-scripted-install-windows-updates

Any reason you aren't building your own WIM for deployment?

  • Thanks. We deploy Win 7 with Kace2000 using a Scripted OS with post install tasks. - murbot 11 years ago
    • If you haven't tried it yet, deploying WIMs with the K2 is very fast. - nheyne 11 years ago
