Scripting

I have sucessfully scripted the silent install of a number of software packages that employees use at a company.

I need some kind of DOS based script that will basically install my choice of OS (XP/2003) and then allow me to select which software packages to install.

I know this has been done before as I've used the script but can no longer locate it.

Does anyone have any ideas? or point me in the right direction?
