Why would the Tasks in progress have patching using up 100% of the pie chart?

I came in 15 minutes early today and logged onto Kace about 5:45am if that time matters. On the Home page, the Tasks in progress was showing a pie chart full of patching only. Patching was using up 100% of the tasks in progress. We do monthly patching and it's not due till next week.

About an hour later, the Tasks in progress pie chart is back to what it should be with Patching at 37%, Scripting at 46% and Inventory and Krash upload taking up the rest.
