Has anyone else had issues with computer not doing full inventories after upgrading the PC to 1803?  Server and agent are both the latest version.

  • What do you mean full inventories? I’m going to do some 1803 test boxes tomorrow. - quickwhips 6 years ago
  • Do you mean after a windows Update? - akmagnum 6 years ago
  • I don't see anything missing on 1803 computers yet. - RichB 6 years ago
  • i have noticed the following
if system is updated to 1803 - it does check in with our K1000 but does not perform any type of inventory to see if software is needed or if scripts need to run ect....
if we image our system (k2000) with an 1803 image the same thing occurs - the system will check in to kace for the first time and perform its initial inventory but that is it.
i have systems on line with last inventory of weeks ago.
i have found that if i delete the system out of inventory / devices and perform a manual check in, the system starts reporting normally. the issue i see is that i have to delete machines every few days. not sure yet if it is the same machines yet (keeping an eye on it) - eelder 6 years ago
  • I have seen this also but I don’t think this is an 1803 issue. - quickwhips 6 years ago
  • We have the same Problem with 1803. Did not work after the update anymore. Any Ideas? - Wind_Power 6 years ago
  • if you delete the computer from the KACE it will reconnect and work again. - Wind_Power 6 years ago
    • Is deleting the computer the solution? Or is this just a temporary solution and the issue will come back after a while? - Adam.Moeloek.WB 6 years ago
      • deleting from inventory will fix it but then you have to re-set up any labels or settings since it acts like its a new computer. - ryanjb 6 years ago
