Windows 7 SP1 dropping amp connection

Has anyone seen with Windows 7 SP1 that the AMP connection seems to drop sporadically? We have a mixture of SP1 and SP0 machines and the machines on version SP1 never reconnect to the KBOX after rebooting. The only way they reconnect is by restarting the SMMP service. We're on the latest agent version, but it happened before upgrading as well. We're on server 5.2.

Thanks.

There is a patch that you need to install. Call Kace and ask them to give you the patch after you upgrade to 5.2.

Windows 7 SP1 that the AMP connection

Just for clarification this patch is not specific to Windows 7 SP1, this patch address an issue with check-in issues that may occur after upgrading to 5.2 regardless of the client OS under a heavy load on the KBOX

We are planning to upgrade to server version 5.2 on Friday, 4/1/11. We already experience check-in issues when the KBOX is under heavy load so does this patch need to be requested from support? Should the patch be requested ahead of time or wait and see if we still have the issue after upgrading?

@RichB - If you're already having issues I'd get with support and get the patch (or look at optimizing other settings if necessary), but hold off on applying it until you see if there's improvement in your environment.
