Windows installer launches when I attempt to create a new script in ASE.

When I click new a dialog box appears asking for me to install software that has already been installed. The windows Installer dialog points to the local Kace download folder looking for an MSI. This happens for Autodesk TrueView 2014 and for Bluebeam.

Has anyone else experienced odd behavior similar to this?

This is not odd behaviour, but a suggestion that your installs are not complete and that a repair is being attempted for which access to the original installation is required.
Check the application event log - this is usually a good place to start as missing components are recorded in there.
If you installed Trueview silently, then unless you preceded the install with the necessary pre-requisite installs, those are likely to be the missing components your apps are looking for.
