I copied the contents of the CD to the network.Inside the ISSetupPrerequisites folder I installed the VC redists and DirectX components.

You will also be required to upgrade Windows Installer to 4.5 if you haven't already. It's in the {22AA129A-8E5D-45AE-A3E4-D110703EF141} folder. Silverlight is also needed and is located in the {700CE99A-BF60-457F-9AFB-3CAA65A73D29} folder.

Then the easiest part was doing a response transform. Oh yea, I had trouble using the other versions of VCRedist. I think only the German localized versions will work. Hope it helps.
