To perform a silent (unattended) install of ARCserveIT for Windows NT, the command is as follows:
setup.exe -i:filename
The filename is a file that can have any name and any extension.
Example: setup.exe -i:c:\silent.ini
Please refer to the example .INI file. All appropriate information must be entered. Once the install has been completed, this information will be placed in the registry under HKEY_LOCALMACHINE\SOFTWARE\ComputerAssociates\
Note: If a domain account is specified, the domain name should be entered for DefaultDomainName.
If a local machine account is specified, the machine name should be entered for DefaultDomainName.
1 will install the component; 0 will not install the component
