Note
The notes for Clicker 4 gave me a fair idea of how to deploy 5 in Novell ZENworks environment:

1. Do a server install (using the "Network Setup" exe).
2. Because Clicker 5 wants to install MS SAPI, I removed the call to do it in the install execute sequence and this allowed the ZEN object to run for an ordinary user without error.
3. Unfortunately you still need MS SAPI. So, using AdminStudio, I repackaged an install of MS SAPI and published that as another ZEN object.

Running both objects, Clicker installs without an error *and* does audio.

Note

I discovered that if you need to deploy Clicker 5.2, MS SAPI is not needed.

Note
We also use Zenworks for deployment of products but I did the deployment a little differently beacuse I did not want to have the content shared on the network which happens as part of the network install process. I copied the entire cd up to a unc path on the network and built my application using the "Clicker 5 Single User.msi" file. The product will fully install but comes up with an error of now serial number when you try and run it. If you create a registry key with the following information and apply it after running the msi it will fill in the missing information and allow the product to start without any problems. The 3 keys you need to edit are

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Crick\Clicker5]
"Serial"="PUT YOUR SERIAL NUMBER HERE WITH THE SPACES"
"Activation"="PUT YOUR ACTIVATION KEY HERE"
"RegisteredName"="PUT THE COMPANY OR OWNER NAME HERE"

Note

We use Zenworks. I also chained the USB KEY Install as it is a stand alone MSI to the stand alone Clicker 5 install. Those two installs combined with the REG changes make for a very slick deployment.

Note
To install (in my case the swedish version) clicker with SCCM use the msi file in the MSI filder with the following: msiexec /i SERIALNUMBER="XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX" ACTIVATIONKEY="XXXXXXXX" REGISTEREDTO="User Name" ALLUSERS=2 /qn

Similarly, we use ZEN (specifically, ZCM 11) but we apply the three Registry values as public properties from the command line.
