Then you can run a silent install using the command:

Uninstall is very simple, Just call:

"[AbaqusInstallDir]\6.8-1\installation_info\uninstaller\Uninstall Abaqus 6.8-1.exe"

Where "6.8-1" is the installed Abaqus Version.

Abaqus Setup is buggy on 64Bit-machines.

Setup of Java throws error while being installed silently.
There's no way around it. Informed support - they were able to reproduce error, but offer no solution, even with now up to date version 6.8-1. So - create an autoIt-Script, that sends an "OK", when error is displayed.

I looked in all of the usual places where an *.iss file would be created or the msi files would be extracted to with no luck, did a system search and there it was.

Just discovered the in the %Abaqusdir%\installation_info\uninstaller folder there is a files called silent_product_uninstall.bat

Main command line that counts is

"C:\SIMULIA\Abaqus\6.10-2\installation_info\uninstaller\Uninstall Abaqus 6.10-2.exe" -i silent
