Obtained EMC's installer, which ships as a large zip file that must be unzipped and run.
Launched Wise Package Studio and began a Setup Capture.
Launched the EMC installer, selecting the options needed by our development team and specifying our server information.
Launched the PA Client and logged into the server so that the server could update the client files. The server side puts several files on the client that are not part of the installer provided by EMC.
Completed Setup Capture and opened resulting WSI.
Adjusted Start Menu shortcut to be in the Program Files -> Documentum location instead of the default, so that all the Documentum products appear in the same place in the Program list. (That's optional if you don't care.)
Cleaned obvious junk items out of the Registry portion of the capture and any files not part of the PA Client. The PA client puts all its files in the installation directory except for the Start Menu shortcut and the "vpd.properties" file in the Windows directory.
Added an embedded VBScript to Deferred Execution to change permission on the install directory and vpd.properties file to allow non-admin users to change settings and update the client as needed. (This may be optional for some of you.)
Changed the shortcut icon to the icon of the "ph32.ico" file.
Compiled MSI, tested installation, and tested that client worked as a non-admin user.
