/COMPONENT
Use where the software is being installed as a component to be used in conjunction with your own application. The component switch only displays a single dialog during installation. You must also supply an installation directory via the /INST switch. Uses default settings of:
- No icons or entry in the Programs Menu
- Save enabled
- Text Touchup enabled
- Menus enabled
- Do not set File Associations
(To override the /COMPONENT default settings use in combination with the applicable other switches.)
/INST={Installation_path}
Set the installation directory to {Installation_path}. Path must be contained within double quotations. E.g. /INST="C:\viewer6"
/YESMENUS (default)
Install the software with Menus turned on (the user will still be able to turn menus on/off via Preferences)
/NOMENUS
Install the software with Menus turned off (the user will still be able to turn menus on/off via Preferences)
/NOA
Do not set File Associations
/NOPRINT
Disable Printing
/NOPDF
Do not install the PDF-XChange printer driver. Save as PDF will be unavailable.
/NORUN
Do not run the software at the end of the installation. /NORUN is implicit if the /S (silent) installation switch is used.
/NR
No Reboot. Do not ask user whether they wish to reboot the machine at this time. The reboot is a requirement for the PDF-XChange printer driver only. For a minor update usually there is no requirement for a machine reboot.
/PREFS (default)
Enable user Preferences
NOPREFS
Disable user Preferences. I.e. the Edit | Preferences dialog is disabled.
/S
Silent installation.
The background gradient is not displayed and the progress bar is not shown. Also implies /NORUN.
Use with the /INST switch to specify a particular installation directory. If not used with the /INST switch the software will be installed over the top of the existing installation, or if there has not been any previous installation the software will be installed to the default installation directory (current default is c:\program files\cadviewer6)
Note that the Silent installation does not suppress display of the 'Reboot computer' question at the end of the setup. To suppress reboot combine with the /NR switch.
/YESSAVE (default)
Enable File Save and Copy to Clipboard.
/NOSAVE
Disable File Save and Copy to Clipboard.
/YESTOUCHUP (default)
Enable Text Touch-up.
/NOTOUCHUP
