Silent install info:

To use a response file, first create a file "r.txt" which contains:

flexbuilder=None
installer-language=en
mode=unattended
prefix=C:\Program Files\IBM\ILOG\Elixir 3.0

then invoke the installer

elixir-enterprise300_trial.exe --optionfile r.txt

Known issue in 3.0 - silent install still prompts to accept the license. No workaround, that has to be done manually, supposed to be fixed in 3.5

Note

After performing a supposedly-silent install (I'm still prompted to accept the license agreement as noted previously), the installer is exiting with an exit code of 1 Since the program is installed and there really isn't anything else I can do, I have to assume this is an oddity of their weird installer. This caused me quite a bit of grief as the rest of my script was not being run until I added a bit of scripting to catch and accept that exit code.
