Command Line
To silently install every component:
<SRCDIR>\setup.exe /w /s /v"/qn ADDLOCAL=ALL"

InstallShield setup.exe arguments:
"/w" = Wait
"/s" = Suppress InstallShield initialization dialog
"/v" = Pass the following arguments to MSIEXEC.EXE

Example:
setup.exe /w /s /v"/qb- ALLUSERS=1 /L*\"%TEMP%\log1.txt\" ADDLOCAL=CORE,WAS_40,WAS_50 REBOOT=ReallySuppress"

Above example will display a minimal UI, create a log file, install a select set of features, and suppress a reboot. Note that to wrap the %TEMP%\log1.txt around quotation characters, a specific escape sequence(\") was used.

Note
To make a MSI, I created a MSI wrapper to call upon the setup.exe with the silent options as well as the location of the responsefile along with the entire installation files together. Make sure you run the MSI package to "run as" the user with local admin rights on the target PC or else it will fail.
