Command Line

To silently install Brava! Desktop 2, you should perform the following steps:

1) Extract the installation files from the package you downloaded from the developer's website:

BravaDesktop20.exe /extract_all:c:\Brava

You now have an installshield package in the c:\Brava\Disk1 directory.

2) Now we need to record the installation to an answer file using the /r switch:

setup.exe /r /f1"c:\Brava\disk1\setup.iss"

3) We now have all the ingredients to perform a silent install:

setup.exe /s /f1"c:\Brava\disk1\setup.iss"

You can copy the Disk1 directory to wherever you want and change the paths accordingly.

IMPORTANT note:

During the installation the following website is contacted to create a trial license:

http://serialization.infograph.com

Depending on your network setup you might need to allow this URL to pass through your proxy/firewall.

If this URL is unreachable during silent install, the installation will fail!
