1) Download the version and language that suits your needs

2) Start the installer, so that it extracts the files to
c:\windows\temp and go there to fetch the temp folder.
3) Install the prerequisites: DirectX and DotNet3.5
(both instructions are found here on AppDeploy Packages)
4) Reference of the parameters and the MST-creation:
FROMSETUP=1 (condition, that is needed to start the setup)
ALREADYRUNNING=0 (-"-)
DOTNET35=1 (-"-)
TRANSFORMS=hotfixFI.mst ( the software would not install
when the conditions are met, noticed an error when using
a /qb- switch to debug the package. The hotfix.mst contains
one registry change i made with ORCA.
Open the MSMath_x64.msi with ORCA, and generate a transform. Go to the Registry-table and find the value:
Software\Microsoft\Mathematics\Standalone\4.0 , AdminDisableSxS
Change the value to #0 and the software will install without errors.
5) Install the software by using the commandline in the
commandline sectino of this guide. Use directly the MSI,
and include the new MST file with the REG-change.
