If you have the 2005 version of the MSI, forget it exists because they've changed everything. Thing are a bit confusing since some properties depend on others so MS gave a listing of examples at http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee424297(printer).aspx
The big difference is that now you can easily have multiple management group or management server to fail-over to but if you remove the last one, *the whole agent is uninstalled*
