Note that "ImageNow" has been rebranded into "Perseptive Content" in version 7.

With SCCM, i used a batch file to deploy this software because of the many parameters needed.

start /WAIT ClientSetup_941.exe /L1036 /V"/qn /NORESTART ADDLOCAL=French,ImageNowClient,AdminHelp,KeyView,Pixtran,Accusoft,NextGenLibrary,ImageNowPrinter,BIIntegration IN_PROFILENAME=yourprofilename IN_SERVER_NAME=yourservername.ca IN_PORT_NO=6000 UPDATE_URL=\"http://IPaddressOfServer:8080/pedserver\" PUPDATE_URL.34D7B38C_34B1_4B08_A7CB_C1A906C54F91=\http://IPaddressOfServer:8080/pedserver\

Note that the /L1036 is for the installer to run in french...the argument is not required if you are installing in English.  same thing for the ADDLOCAL parameter of French. Also note that this should all be on 1 line in your batch file.

Uninstall command line is :

MsiExec.exe /x{BB0B3D05-B195-459B-8131-3988EB1D055B}

  • This is exactly what I am looking for, but running this (and removing /L1038 and "french") ends in an MsiExec error window with no indication of what went wrong. Trying this with the Perceptive Content 7.1 client, and support was no help - bmnuser 8 years ago
    • try it with /L1033 (for English) and try running the command from the command prompt using /qb instead of /qn that way you might see where it runs into a problem - KevinViolette 8 years ago
