Note

.msi installers are presented on the Python website: http://www.python.org/download/

Basic silent install example: python-3.3.3.msi /qn ALLUSERS=1

Silent install, specify install dir: python-3.3.3.msi /qn ALLUSERS=1 TARGETDIR="%PROGRAMFILES%\Python"

Installer Properties:

TARGETDIR= (sets the root installation directory. Default is [ROOT]\Python[Version]. Example: C:\Python33)

ALLUSERS=1 (Installs for all users. Default seems to be 0 when run from command line. I would suggest always explicitly setting this property.)

ADDLOCAL=[Feature1],[Feature2],...

All - installs all features
DefaultFeature - install the interpreter proper, plus the core libraries
Extensions - register extensions (.py, .pyc, etc)
TclTk - install Tkinter, and IDLE
Documentation - install documentation
Tools - install the Tools/ directory
Testsuite - install Lib/test/
