Passing the transform file on the command line did not work for me, and there are many people for whom it has not worked. Instead, downloading the Microsoft SDK and running the orca MSI editor, opening the EZCD MSI, applying the 1033.mst transform and saving as a new MSI worked dandy. Consider doing this if specifying the transform file on the command line is giving you shortcuts labeled ##NEW_STRING67##.
I was unable to simply use the command line switches or anything and get it to work properly. However, I noticed that it would run fine after an admin logged in (not ran the program, just logged in). It turns out there are A LOT of registry entries created as an admin logs in. I used a txt file comparer to compare the registry of a regular user, and an admin. The registry files created are in HKLM\SOFTWARE\CLASSES, and all relate to easy cd creator. After including these registry entries, when a regular user attempts to use easy cd creator, it doesn't just crash out saying cdcreator couldn't be initialized.
